Boo! - Thoughts on Ghosting
Ghosting: "...ending a romantic relationship by cutting off all contact and ignoring the former partner's attempts to reach out." Exes Explain Ghosting, the Ultimate Silent Treatment, the New York Times June 26, 2015.
I've been ghosted many times. And it sucks. But in defense of all the Ghosters out there, is it kinder than The Fade Out? If you're going to break something off with someone, whether it's a legit relationship or just a guy you've gone on one Tinder date with and casually texted with for a week, maybe it's better to go for the jugular, and just end it.
I've faded plenty of guys out, only to realize what a jerk move it is. Why keep on texting, albeit shorter and curter texts, if

I Know This Much to Be True
Most guys will be short. If they're tall, chances are they're in the military.
Just an observation!
Disclaimer: I am quite short myself, so my "tall" isn't the same as a Victoria's Secret Angel. Let's just say spotting guys over 6 feet on these apps though is like finding a bag of caramel Bugles - rare but not impossible.

An Introduction
I've been Tindering (and Hinge-ing and Coffee Meets Bagel-ing and now Bumble-ing) for months, on and off. I've gained somewhat of a reputation for being "the Tinder girl". My co-workers all know I use it, friends come to me with questions about new dating apps, and frankly, it's become a big part of my life.
I've been considering writing down my thoughts and observations for some time, but let's face it, I'm lazy. But after exchanging multiple messages with a gentleman last night who eventually asked me "do you hookup?" (da fuq?) I realized it was time.
Y'all, it's Tinder's world and I'm just living in it. Happy swiping!
